Paul’s Walk Post Construction Deep Clean and Protection

Go-Gum were contracted to clean an area of York Stone Paving measuring approximately 300sqm in the vicinity of Paul’s Walk, on the north bank of the Thames in central London. The new area of paving was deep cleaned using our state-of-the-art, eco-friendly cleaning equipment. Following the deep cleaning operation, the Go-Gum Street Cleansing Team applied our eco-friendly chewing gum and stain repellent, Pave-Saver.

Pave-Saver is ideally suited to the protection of a wide variety of outdoor and indoor masonry surfaces, including York Stone Paving, that are subjected to heavy foot traffic. Pave-Saver protects stone and pavement surfaces from weathering and helps surfaces remain clean by repelling bubble gum, water, airborne dirt, acid rain, smog, industrial pollutants, oil and grease, dust and organic growth (lichens & moss).

All the works were carried out during the day and at the weekend so as to minimise the impact on nearby residents. Two Go-Gum operatives from the Street Cleansing Team were employed for this project, one operating the deep cleaning machine, whilst the second applied our unique Pave-Saver treatment.
