Deep Cleaning Stone Pavers at Prestigious New London Development
Deep Cleaning York Stone Pavers at 40 Leadenhall, London

To finalise that last detail, helping to perfect that ‘exceptional environment’, Go-Gum Group’s subsidiary Surface Solve Ltd, undertook a post construction deep clean and pavement protection project for the new York Stone paving scheme, surrounding 40 Leadenhall in the City of London.
Cleaning the stone pavers took place in four locations bordering the new high-rise development. Approximately 405m2 of new York Stone paving was cleaned and protected on Leadenhall Street, followed by 415m2 on Billiter Street. Fenchurch Street saw 315m2 of new paving flags deep cleaned and protected with Pave-Saver, then 216m2 of flagstones adjacent to Fenchurch Building were given the same treatment. In total the Go-Gum Street Cleaning Team deep cleaned and protected 1,395m2 of brand new stone pavers.
Our teams are well-versed in post-construction deep cleaning of new stone pavers, which are particularly popular in the City of London due to its visually attractive appearance and hard wearing nature.
In order to minimise any disruption our team from Surface Solve Ltd undertook all of the cleaning and protection work during weekends. Two operatives, equipped with the Go-Gum Lanceman DiBO Cleaning Machine undertook the deep cleaning works, then followed-up protecting the newly laid York Stone Paving with Pave-Saver.
With one operative manning the DiBO, the second applied Pave-Saver to the freshly cleaned York Stone Paving. Pave-Saver is our unique paving protector which protects stone surfaces from all manner of pollution, including discarded chewing gum, airborne dirt, acid rain, smog, industrial pollutants, oil and grease, dust and organic growth (lichens & moss). Owing to its exceptional penetration and stain repellent properties, it is perfectly suited to the protection of York Stone Paving which is subject to heavy foot traffic.
