Due to its exceptional penetration and stain repellent properties, Pave-Saver, supplied by Go-Gum Limited, is ideally suited to the protection of a wide variety of outdoor and indoor masonry surfaces that are subjected to heavy foot traffic.
Pave-Saver protects stone and pavement surfaces from weathering and helps surfaces remain clean by repelling bubble gum, water, airborne dirt, acid rain, smog, industrial pollutants, oil and grease, dust and organic growth (lichens & moss).
Pave-Saver protects substrates and makes removing chewing gum and pollution effortless! Rain water will remove most stains as the pollutant is prevented from sticking to the substrate. Pave-Saver offers this high level of protection by effectively reducing the adhesion rate of the pollutant, whilst still enabling the underlying materials to breathe. Once treated, pressure washing/steam cleaning with the Enviraclean Machine/Gum-Grafter (or similar) may be required periodically.
Pave-Saver also prevents surface spalling and fragmentation through repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Once applied it is invisible, essentially forming part of the substrates fabric and therefore offering high resistance to abrasion.
Pave-Saver Ultra has been developed to protect areas subjected to ultra high foot traffic. Typical areas of use include railway and tube stations, outside pubs and night spots, around bus stops and litter bins – practically any ultra high traffic area which requires protection!. How Pave-Saver Protects
Pave-Saver is not a coating, and therefore does not suffer from failure due to adhesion issues.
Pave-Saver treatment is achieved by impregnation to the point of saturation so that Pave-Saver gets deep into a material’s pores, thus making it water repellent. In preventing the ingress of water, Pave-Saver removes the damaging effects of both frost and humidity.

Surface to be treated must be free from chewing gum, dust, dirt, oil, efflorescence, mould/algae, old paint, other surface contaminants.
Clean surface thoroughly using a hot wash/pressure washer (Go-Gum Enviraclean Machine or similar) prior to application. The substrate should be dry, with surface and ambient temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Pave-Saver pavement surface protection can be applied by brush, roller, squeegee, back pack sprayer or low pressure spray.
Surface to be treated must be fully saturated. This will require between 1 and 3 coats applied wet on wet dependant on substrate porosity (see guide).
